1st Symposium ValueFromUrine: "Applications of Bio-Electrochemical Systems in effluents"

The symposium is organized by Abengoa Water and Wetsus Research Centre, as part of the European Project FP7 ValuefromUrine. The main objective of this project is to demonstrate the application of the BES as a nutrients recovery technology.
The main objective of the Symposium is the dissemination of BES capacities as a wastewater
treatment technology, as an energy/hydrogen production system, and/or as a products
recovery/biosynthesis process. To achieve these objectives, different R&D presentations have been
selected and will be presented in the symposium.
A total of 50 participants made this 1st symposium of ValueFromUrine a great success.
